Once upon a time, I lived in a world where I didn't realize amazing small shops existed. I only had the mainstream stores to hopefully have something for my Disney loving soul. Then one day, I came across Brand By You and lived happily ever after. On a little more serious note though, Brand By You was one of the very first small shops I came across when I first shifted my focus into the Disney community on Instagram and I've been a happy camper since. Donna's vision is perfect for my kid at heart but also when I am trying to be a little more bada**. From her love to all things Disney to food to Marvel, there's something for everyone in her shop. Donna was kind to gift me the following three tees and I had such a blast styling them! Thank you so much again Donna! And now without further ado, let me share with you more details of my outfits. The first tee is this Sorcerer Apprentice inspired tee (currently on sale)! My Fantasmic loving soul really went into overdrive when I saw it and I had the perfect skirt to go with it (bought this from an online boutique two years ago). The ears are from KulturMouse and necklace from Extras By O. Shoes are from Toms (not sold anymore) and I can't think of an outfit more meant to be than this one. Next tee is inspired by one of my favorite characters ever, Vanellope Von Schweetz! This tee is sassy and colorful which makes for a fun outfit! I decided to give my ears a rest and went for this colorful headband from Rarity By Casey instead. This awesome skirt is from Pretty Little Monograms and felt like it added to the fun color scheme of the shirt (and Vanellope's personality is just a celebration all around)! The donut necklace is from Shop Disney (found at the parks) and I felt like it added a "sweet" touch to the entire outfit...eh? Eh? Okay I'll see myself out. I left my favorite outfit I've ever created for last because I am just so in love with it. As soon as I saw this Dumbo inspired tee, I knew I needed to create a more dramatic outfit for it. Again, I decided to opt out of the normal mouse ears and went for this red velvet headband from Rarity By Casey. I had a basic black skirt from Amazon on but felt like I needed something more dramatic when I remembered I had this star dress overlay from Target (not sold anymore). I stuffed the straps into the skirt and I LOVE how it turned out. I wanted to give it more of a casual touch so I decided to wear my Converse. Not only are they casual but my high tops just give me more of a bada** feel anyways so it worked out.
Thank you so much again Donna for the tees and for trusting me to create amazing outfits for your brand. I am a huge believer in supporting small shops but mostly supporting amazing people that have a heart of gold and a vision so unique to a community that can get slightly repetitive. Donna has the courage to do what she envisions and to really follow it through. If you haven't already done so, please follow her on Instagram to stay up to date with everything she creates!
